ARRR...Me Mates and Landlubbers Long Ago and Far Away there was a dark and dangerous pirate named "Billie Big Bones", his descendents came to the Northwest in the 1850's and his great, great, great, great, great grandson...Billie jr Bones named after his great,great,great,great,great grandfather was an infamous bootlegger, rum running up and down the Puget Sound, Aye...He met up with Roy Olmstead who was stationed on McNeil Island and was in Steilacoom counting all his booty,and did rum running into Pirates Smuggler's Cove, near Titlow Beach and Cape Hope. Bill Bones Jr. was a shameless lot and had an untimely death down a mine shaft near Point Defiance...his grandson Captain "Big Bones" keeps on the traditions....Captain Big Bones, a long hair desendant of Captain Billy Bones Sr. on Treasure Island and his smockley crew of YO HO, YO HO Tacoma Pirates which enjoy prouding about the streets today, "Heap in bartary, a pirates life for me. Arrr..." Me Ship Named "Shadows Revenge" "Ye never know where SHE Be! Fer the shadow is all around you, me sidekick a cockatoo named "Rummyyy" ARRR...because he drinks all the captain's rum. Story goes, birds were used to trade fer favors with thar government. Rummy also talks in pirate language, Like "Pieces of Eight", "Walk the Plank", "Dead Ahead" or "Seagulls"...Look up!!! The captain is carrying many pistolas." The one on his left boo, the pistol finger arm half cocked, and ready to repel orders. On his back is a Boarding Blunderbuss for boarding ships. "Shiver me timbers" Also Captain Big Bones keeps a rat named "Wrinkles" which comes out of his back pocket and his other pet rat "Whiskers" coming up on his right boot. He has many sayings to be told and stories of old, for they have a ear to his his quotes. "So Be It" You do not want to walk the plank with these pirates.

Who We Are

We are a Tacoma non-profit organization of old scuffs and young lads and lassies sponsored by "Captain Big Bones" aka Dennis Robinson of Longshore fame and his fair mate " Lady Diana." (Lady Diana stays on the shore but Cap't BB keeps her handkerchief close to his heart!) We go to numerous events around the Puget Sound to entertain and support children and the young at heart! Our main events are, the Jr. Daffodil Parade, Tall Ships, Proctor District Halloween Celebration, Pirates of the Puget Sound, Tacoma Waterfront, Titlow Beach Tacoma Metro Parks and Many Others.
